IM Acacia Jaimez

Hello, I am Acacia Jaimez.

About
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a difficult season of life, you don’t have to do it alone. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and results-oriented. I believe therapy should not only help you feel heard and supported, but also give you the tools to create real, lasting change. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My passion for this work began with my own experiences as a teenager, which inspired me to become the kind of support I once needed—present, understanding, and genuinely invested in each person’s growth.

Experience
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 11 years of experience, I’ve worked in partial hospitalization, inpatient, and private practice settings. This diverse background allows me to support clients with a wide range of needs and levels of care.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, always tailoring treatment to fit you—not the other way around.

In our work together, you can expect a clear, supportive process where we identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and work through challenges at a pace that feels comfortable. Many clients begin to notice reduced symptoms, improved emotional balance, and stronger, healthier relationships.

Client

Life can present a variety of challenges, and navigating them alone can often feel overwhelming. I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ongoing stress, helping them better understand their emotions and develop effective ways to manage daily life. Together, we work to build coping skills that promote stability, resilience, and a greater sense of control.

I also help clients navigate life transitions and major life changes, whether expected or unexpected. These moments can bring uncertainty, but they can also be opportunities for growth. My goal is to provide guidance and clarity so you can move forward with confidence and purpose.

For those balancing caregiving responsibilities or facing parenting challenges, I offer support in managing the emotional demands that come with these roles. I also work with individuals experiencing peer and relationship difficulties, helping to strengthen communication, improve connection, and foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

I have experience working with both adults and older adults, recognizing that each stage of life brings its own unique experiences and stressors. No matter where you are in your journey, I strive to provide a supportive space where you can build insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, improving emotional regulation and promoting healthier behavioral responses. This approach is especially effective in addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and bipolar disorder.

I also incorporate Person-Centered Therapy, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. This foundation allows individuals to explore their experiences at their own pace while building self-awareness and confidence.

In addition, I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for navigating life transitions, caregiving challenges, parenting concerns, and relationship difficulties. This approach emphasizes progress and helps clients move toward tangible, lasting change.

Drawing from an eclectic framework, I integrate these evidence-based approaches to support adults and older adults in developing coping skills, improving interpersonal relationships, and managing life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a structured yet compassionate space where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Industries and communities

I am proud to work with a diverse range of individuals and communities, each bringing unique experiences, challenges, and strengths. I primarily serve adults and older adults, providing support that is responsive to the emotional and life transitions that can occur across these stages.

I work closely with caregivers, offering a supportive space to navigate the emotional demands, stress, and responsibilities that often accompany caring for others. For parents and families, I provide guidance in managing parenting challenges and strengthening family relationships, helping to foster healthier communication and connection.

I also support individuals experiencing life transitions, whether related to career changes, shifting family roles, aging, or other major life adjustments. Additionally, I work with those facing interpersonal and peer relationship challenges, helping them build stronger, more fulfilling connections.

Across all of these communities, I provide care for individuals managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ongoing stress, with a focus on building resilience, enhancing coping skills, and promoting lasting emotional well-being.
